Texas Hold 'em Probability Calculator
Click "edit" on a card to assign a value to that card. Cards with
no value assigned are treated as being face down with unknown
values.
Approximate chances are displayed below the cards. The chances
are calculated on the fly by simply simulating thousands of
games. Win/lose/tie chances and expected return assume that no
player folds. Figures in
green are accurate to within
±1 percentage point with 95% confidence.* [Edit March
2016: I recommend ignoring the statistical claims on this
page.]
*Specifically, for the chances, 0.95 is the
nominal coverage probability
of an
AgrestiCoull interval
with boundaries within 1 percentage point of the rounded
estimate. For the expected return, 0.95 is again the coverage
probability of a confidence interval with boundaries within 1
percentage point of the rounded estimate; this time, the
confidence interval is constructed by assuming a normal
distribution because I don't know how to calculate anything
better. (Can anybody
help me with the math?)
